Publisher Problem:

Having already acknowledged the demand for an electronic publication, this client was looking for a more innovative, creative and easier solution. They needed to find a way to publish archives of newsletters, in several languages, that would have the same "look and feel" as the printed publication, run on all computer platforms, be extremely user-friendly, have strong search capabilities, maintain brand recognition and finally, have reasonable developmental costs.

Solution:

Our "Paperless Solution" was simple - create an Adobe Acrobat based presentation which included 50 years worth of archived issues. The presentation was multilingual; the viewing software (Acrobat) provided for 8 different languages on the CD-ROM. All the Acrobat files were "Captured", indexed and cataloged - making the entire CD-ROM contents fully text-searchable. In addition, we created a custom graphical user interface - resulting in an amazingly simple-to-use product. The completed presentation was mastered onto CD-ROM, packaged, shrinkwrapped and thousands duplicated at a lower cost than printing alone!
